The Faculty prides itself on providing the highest quality educational services to its students. The faculty has seven departments: Accounting, Finance and Banking, Law, Management & Organisational Behaviour, Economics and Resources Management, Marketing and Tourism, and Information Systems.

The Faculty is the largest in the University and provides quality educational services relating to the entire area of business and commerce. It offers a large choice in the area of undergraduate programs. These programs are offered in a variety of modes, covering on-campus, traditional distance and on-line. Students can vary the mode to suit their particular circumstances. On-campus programs are run at the Toowoomba campus and at the Wide Bay campus.

A significant proportion of these programs are offered offshore. The postgraduate programs are offered under the umbrella of the USQ Australian Graduate School of Business (USQ AGSB). Postgraduate programs range from those covering general management to some quite specialised programs (e.g. personal financial planning).
